At Ascent paragliding we focus on developing the skills and confidence of qualified pilots both in the UK and abroad. Whether you have just finished your Club pilot and are now looking to hone and build on the basic skill set you have been taught, or you are a more advanced pilot who has their sight on becoming a better more confident pilot, Ascent paragliding has a course that will suit you.

Our trips destinations vary, from more proximity flying, glider control based courses like at Dune Du Pyla, through to big mountain thermalling courses in Portugal.

Paragliding Progression

If you are looking to learn how to move from a total novice to a fully qualified pilot then we recommend High Adventure school on the isle of wight.  They are one of the oldest schools in the country and have some of the most consistent training conditions due to their location on the solent and some of the quietest sites in the country because they are school owned sites not public.
